Online Spanish short courses

Post Beginners

For students who have already had 15 hours of Spanish lessons.

What students will learn

You'll learn to describe a city, to tell the time, to describe your daily routine activities, to speak about habits in the present and to speak about your likes and dislikes. All material will be emailed in advance, included audio tracks.

Grammar: Present tense indicative, verb gustar, reflective verbs in the present, verb hay numbers, etc.

Intermediate Spanish

This eight-week course follows on from the Beginners' Course.

Wednesday 27th May, 7pm to 9pm via Skype

Who can do the course?

People with a basic knowledge of grammar (e.g. present tense), vocabulary (e.g. daily activities) and pronunciation.

What students will learn

Topics: You'll learn to speak about habits in the past, to tell an anecdote, to express your opinion, to agree and disagree with someone else's opinion, etc. All material will be emailed in advance, included audio tracks.

Grammar: Imperfect tense, differences between imperfect and preterit tenses, connective devices, introduction to the subjunctive mood, etc.

Advanced Spanish

This eight-week course follows on from the Intermediate Course.

Monday 25th May, 6:30 - 8:30pm via Skype

What students will learn

Topics: You'll practice to discuss and express your viewpoint on a variety of subjects such as different aspects of Hispanic culture, art, history, literature, etc. All materials will be emailed in advance to prepare for the discussion.

Grammar: General review of indicative, conditional and subjunctive mood, etc.

About the Tutor

Daniel Cristiano has over 15 years’ experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language including designing and teaching courses for King's College London, the University of Oxford, the UK Foreign Office and the London Business School.
