Spanish for Beginners

About this course

This eight-week course is an introduction to the Spanish language and is designed for beginners (or those with very limited experience of Spanish).

Small classes (typically between six and ten students) allow for maximum contact time with the tutor and students come from a wide range of different ages and backgrounds. All course materials are provided by the tutor.

Next course starts:

Weds 14th August, 7pm to 9pm in Keith Clarke Room 2

  • Member price: £112
  • Non-member price: £168
  • Number of classes: 8 (over 9 weeks as there will be no class on Weds 28th August)
  • Please pay at Club Reception in advance

What students will learn

You will learn reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in a variety of topics including ordering at a restaurant and asking for directions. The classes are taught using a communicative and task-based approach with ‘real-life’ situational tasks.  However, there is no formal exam or test (phew!).

Who can do the course?
