Are you someone who struggles with your weight? Do find it hard to make realistic long-term lifestyle changes that are healthy?
At Central YMCA we believe a supportive community is a big part of wellness. That's why are launching a new a 10-week course in which you can learn how to achieve your ideal weight with the support and enthusiasm of our staff.
Our Healthy Weight Programme was initially run as an external project for Camden Local Authority for three years. After tweaking it slightly, we are now rolling it out not just to Club members, but non-members as well. .
The programme is designed to help you to get in shape and adopt healthy eating and exercise habits.
We measure your initial fitness level and do a full body composition analysis at the beginning and at the end of the programme.
Everyone taking part attends two supportive meetings a week which involve workshops around shopping, understanding food labels, how to practice mindful eating and bespoke one-to-one food diary feedback.
Dates and timings
Ten weeks from 27th September until 1st December 2016:
- Tuesdays: 5.30pm – 7.15pm
- Thursdays: 5.30pm – 7.15pm
(Participants are asked to ideally attend both sessions over the ten weeks. However if you can only attend one per week please let one of the instructors know)
Members: £68 (Members get 1/3 off price)
