Boost your power and strength

One of the biggest trends in the fitness industry at the moment is around harnessing the natural movements of the body – the things we do everyday like pulling, pushing, standing.

Several of our group classes can help you explore this, such as Primal Patterns, but we also have lots of kit in the gym which will spice up your training regime – one of our newest additions being The Tank.

Here Hamit and Edgaras show you three exercises that will not only workout several muscle groups at a time but also develop your power and strength.

Are you ready to feel the burn?

1. Chest Pass (chest, shoulders, triceps)

If you're getting bored of your usual chest routines then try this alternative. And like all these exercises, several muscle groups are engaged, so you get more bang for your buck!

Anterior core, chest and shoulder muscles are all engaged, as are the triceps. You also improve your speed and power.

2. Partner Resist (upper body strength, core)

This is a great exercise to carry out with a willing workout partner – especially someone competitive who will really test you.

It improves grip and upper body strength while engaging the core.
