As part of the UK’s leading activity for health charity, we believe everyone should be able to participate in physical activity and be as fit and active as they can be. So we keep our costs as low as possible and offer a range of membership packages to ensure as many people as possible can access our facilities, whatever their circumstances.

We think our membership prices offer excellent value for money, so we’re happy to completely transparent about them. And we don’t think should be locked into a contract you can’t use if your circumstances change, so we offer a customer promise.

Below are our prices for 12 month contracts, paid monthly by Direct Debit. Please speak to a Club Membership Advisor to find out more about other options that may be available to you.

Individual Memberships

Joining fee: £30
Peak Membership: £56.95pcm
Off—Peak Membership: £46.95pcm (Off-peak membership Monday to Friday 6:30am-3:45pm, 3:45pm is last entry and off-peak members must leave the Club by 4:30pm, all day at weekends)

Corporate Memberships

Joining fee: £15
Peak Membership: £51.50pcm
Off-Peak Membership: £44.50pcm (Off-peak membership Monday to Friday 6:30am-3:45pm, 3:45pm is last entry and off-peak members must leave the Club by 4:30pm, all day at weekends)

Student Memberships

We offer a selection of short-term memberships suitable for students studying locally.

1 month at a time: £20 joining fee plus £37.50 per month
3 months up front: £105  
6 months up front: £190
9 months up front: £250
12 months up front: £300

To join, simply bring a letter on headed paper from your college or university, stating that you study for a minimum of 16 hours or more per week, along with a valid current Student ID card to the Club Reception.

Concession Membership

Discounted off-peak membership for those in receipt of benefits. Available to those in receipt of Jobseekers’ Allowance, Incapacity Benefit or Income Support.  Proof of receipt required in the form of an official letter, which must be dated within one month of joining.

Membership fee: £30 per year
Session price: £1.90 per visit

Older Adults Membership

Discounted off-peak membership for older adults (60+ years of age). To join, simply bring photo ID showing proof of age to Reception (e.g. passport or drivers’ license). You can choose to pay-as-you-go or pay upfront for unlimited off-peak access.

Membership fee: £30 per year
Session price: £1.90 per visit

Unlimited off-peak 

Pay in advance for 6 or 12 months and enjoy unlimited off-peak access.

6 months: £93
12 months: £185

Y Active Membership

Children up to the age of 14 can become Y Active Members and participate in Playscheme, Term-time Courses and Saturday Club.

Membership fee: £30

Crèche Membership

Crèche membership gives parents/carers access to all the gym facilities, classes, pool and sauna/steam rooms: Monday - Thursday 10:00am-12:00pm.
